This command can be used to detect the presence of a reader at the current host interface.

NOTICE:

The response will only be sent by the reader if the request is executed with the baud rate
and actual parity of the Reader.
3.1.10. [0x53] Configuration of COM-Adr.
This parameter can be used to allocate a bus address for communication. Bus addresses from 0 to
253 can be allocated via software. The reader can be contacted via the configured address or via the
address 255 at any time. Protocols with a wrong address will be ignored. This does not depend on
whether the reader operates in a data bus or in a two-point connection.

Via the bus address 255 in the sent protocols, the reader can be called at any time. The
reader will answer each call with the configured address.
