3.1.5. [0x67] Power Saving Mode
By the parameter "Power Saving Mode" the operation mode of the reader can be reconfigured in order
to reduce its current consumption. The reduction of the current consumption will be achieved by a
temporarily limited switch-off of the antenna field. Thus, the reader is not able to receive transponders
while the power-saving mode is active.

With every poll-ommand sent to the reader, the power-saving-mode switch-off time

) is re-triggered. The reader changes to the power-saving mode, if after a polling-
protocol a period of time longer than the time t

has passed. By the next polling-
protocol to the reader, the time t

is being re-triggered and the reader terminates the
power-saving mode until the expiration of the time t

.
