4.5.3. [0x1C] Password-Select (ID DTx.C)

The command "password-select" on principle works in a similar way to the command [0x11] (see

4.1.

[0x11] Read Serial-No. (selection of transponder)

), with one exception: It includes an additional

password which the reader uses to authentify itself to the transponder, in case the transponder
supports this function.

"Password-Select" serves to a configuration of the transponder password without having to change the
transponder password in the EEPROM of the reader.
