III. Insert the 5/8-inch screw and tighten with the

hex wrench.

4. Mount the scanner on the tripod.

A. Align the two sections of the tribrach adapter by

positioning the scanner over the tripod, then tighten

the set screw.

5. If using the scanner transport cover, remove the cover.

6. Connect the power supply.

A. Connect the external power supply unit to the

scanner.
I.

Line up the red dots on the external power

supply plug and the scanner.

II.

Connect the power cable to the external power

supply unit and to a power source.

The LEDs illuminate blue when power is

connected to the scanner.

III. Secure the external power supply unit to the

tripod to avoid stress on the cord.

B. Install the battery.

I. Open the battery compartment cover.

II. Hold the battery so the PowerBlock regulatory

information is on top and the battery contacts

are toward the scanner.

III. Push the battery into the battery compartment

until it clicks into place.

IV. Close the battery compartment cover.

7. Press the power button on the top of the scanner.
