As you discuss the scanner software, you can connect to the scanner
using a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) so you can demonstrate
features and commands, as well as Activities.
To connect remotely to the scanner:
1. Using the scanner:
A. Tap Manage > General Settings > WLAN .
B. Tap WLAN Status to turn WLAN on.
2. Using your computer:
A. At the bottom right of your computer screen, click the
Network icon.

From the list of wireless devices, select the scanner,
and click Connect .
II. The scanner name is the scanner serial number,
which is on the front of the scanner, above the
power inlet.
B. Open an internet browser.
I. In the internet browser’s address field, enter http:// ,
followed by the internet protocol (IP) address of the
scanner, followed by the Port number (for example,
http://192.168.111.2:8400
).
C. If you are prompted to enter the WLAN encryption key,
enter 0123456789 .
The scanner
IP Address, Port
number, and
Encryption Key are listed on the WLAN screen.
