MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP
Cleaning the main unit
•
Turn off the device and disconnect the lead wires from the unit.
•
Clean gently the device after use with a soft, slightly moistened cloth.
•
Do not use chemicals (like thinner, benzene).
•
Do not let water get into the internal area.
Note
: This device and accessories do not require sterilization.
Cleaning the electrode pads
•
Turn the power off and remove the lead wires from the pads.
•
Wash the pads when the adhesive surface becomes dirty and/or the pads are difficult to attach.
•
Wash the pad softly with your fingertips under slow running cold water for several seconds (do
not use a sponge/cloth/sharp object like a nail on the adhesive side. Do not use detergents, che-
micals or soap).
•
Dry the pads and let the adhesive surface air-dry completely (do not wipe with a tissue paper or
cloth).
• The life of pads may vary by the frequency of washing, skin condition, and storage
state.lf the pads no longer sticks to your skin or the pads are broken, you should re-
place them with new pads.
• Before applying the self-adhesive electrodes, it is recommended to wash and degrease the
skin, and dry it.
• Do not turn on the device when the electrodes are not positioned on the body.
• Never remove the electrodes from the skin while the device is still turned on.
• If replacement electrodes are necessary,use only electrodes that are the same size as the
electrodes provided with the device and approve by Farmamed.
• Use of electrodes that are larger may reduce the effect of the stimulation. Use of electrodes
that are much smaller than the electrodes provided with the device may increase the chance
of skin irritation or electrode burns occurring under the electrodes.
Storing the electrode pads and lead wire
•
Turn the device off and remove the lead wire from the unit.
•
Remove the pads from your body and pull out lead wire from the pads.
•
Place the pads on the plastic film and store in the sealed package.
•
Wrap the lead wire and store in the sealed package.
To keep the electrodes in good condition and to prevent the hydrogel layer from drying out,
always store them in the resealable bag when they are not attached to your body for treat-
ment. Seal the resealable bag to guarantee dust-free storage.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the display shows the empty battery symbol, replace the batteries with batteries of the same type.
1. Open the battery compartment as indicated in figure 3.
2. Remove the exhausted batteries and dispose of them as indicated in the “Disposal” chapter.
3. Insert batteries of the same type and with the same service life, making sure they are positioned as
indicated.
4. Dispose of the exhausted batteries in compliance with applicable local regulations.
5. Close the battery compartment.
If you want to store electrodes for more than a month, keep them at temperatures between
5°C and +27°C. Do not store the electrodes in the freezer or the refrigerator. Avoid high tem-
peratures and exposure to direct sunlight.
Storing the unit
Place the unit, electrodes, lead wire and manual back into retail box. Store the box in a dry place
(-10°C-55°C); 10%-90% relative humidity). Failing to do so may affect the performance of the sti-
mulator.
•
Do not store in places that can be easily reached by children.
•
Store the device in the dry, clean place. Do not leave the product exposed to any chemical sol-
vent, lint, dust, direct sunshine or high temperature.
•
When the device is not in use for a long period, we recommend recharging the battery once a
month.
DISPOSAL
The product packaging is made of recyclable materials. It must be disposed of in compliance with
local regulations.
For environmental reasons, the appliance must not be discarded with normal household waste
at the end of its service life. It must be taken to an appropriate disposal facility. Dispose of the
appliance in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU regarding waste electrical and
electronic equipment. For further information or clarification, contact the local authority respon-
sible for waste disposal.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for professional purposes.
• The appliance is covered by a two-year warranty from the time of purchase, which must be proven by
proof of purchase. This period complies with applicable regulations (“Consumer Code” Italian Legislative
Decree no. 206 of 06/09/2005) and only applies if the consumer is a private subject.
• The warranty covers production defects only and is not valid for damage caused by accidents, incorrect
use, negligence or improper use of the product. It does not cover materials subject to normal wear and
tear.
• The appliance must not be opened under any circumstance; the warranty is not valid if the product has
been opened or tampered with.
• The warranty expires 2 years after purchase; after this time, any technical assistance will be provided
on a paid basis. For information on technical assistance under warranty or provided on a paid basis,
contact the manufacturer using the details on the last page of this manual. Consumers will not receive
any reimbursement for product repairs or replacements performed under warranty. In the event of a
malfunction, contact the manufacturer; Do NOT send the appliance directly to Farmamed

first. Work performed under warranty (including replacement of all
or part of the product) will not extend the duration of the original warranty of the replaced product.
• The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage/injury that may be directly or indirectly
caused to people, property or domestic animals as a consequence of failure to comply with the indica-
tions provided in this instruction manual, in particular the warnings regarding the installation, use and
maintenance of the appliance.
• Given its on-going commitment to improving its products, Farmamed reserves the right to modify
all or parts of its products in order to meet production requirements, without giving advanced notice,
without this entailing any responsibility for Farmamed or its dealers.
