Cooling unit stopped
because of low evapo-
rator pressure
● Check the low-pressure switch. The low-pressure switch cuts
out at 0.69 bar and re-engages at 2.21 bar. The unit must cut
out at the low-pressure switch and this can be checked by
comparing it with the actual manometer pressure
● Check VEX regulating valve function.
● Check volume of the unit. The required amount is shown on
the information plate.

Cooling unit stopped
because of high evapo-
rator pressure
● Check the high-pressure switch. The high-pressure switch
cuts out at 29.3 bar. The unit must cut out at the high-pressure
switch and this can be checked by comparing it with the actual
manometer pressure
● Check VEX regulating valve function.
● Check volume of the unit. The required amount is shown on
the information plate.

Cooling unit stopped
because of overeating
in cooling compressor
● Check the compressor power consumption
● Check airflow across the cooling unit, select same fan speed
as when the alarm was triggered. There must be the following
min. airflows across the cooling unit:
- CU240: 195l/s
- CU250: 417l/s
- CU260: 528l/s
- CU270: 611l/s
● Check VEX regulating valve function.
● Check volume of the unit.

Cooling unit stopped
because of high com-
pressed gas tempera-
ture
● Check the VEX airflow measurement, which controls the air-
flow through the condenser coil, is correct
● Check airflow across the cooling unit, select same fan speed
as when the alarm was triggered. There must be the following
min. airflows across the cooling unit:
- CU240: 195l/s
- CU250: 417l/s
- CU260: 528l/s
- CU270: 611l/s
● Check volume of the unit.

Supply air duct temper-
ature sensor discon-
nected
● Check the sensor's resistance complies with the actual tem-
perature. See temperature resistance table appendix 2.
● If the sensor resistance has significantly changed in value, it
should be replaced.
25 06
3
Supply air duct temper-
ature sensor short-
circuited
● Check the sensor's resistance complies with the actual tem-
perature. See temperature resistance table appendix 2.
● If the sensor resistance has significantly changed in value, it
should be replaced.
25 07
3
Outdoor air duct tem-
perature sensor dis-
connected
● Check the sensor's resistance complies with the actual tem-
perature. See temperature resistance table appendix 2.
● If the sensor resistance has significantly changed in value, it
should be replaced.
