4.4.6.1. Setting the Analog Audio Tone Frequency

OUTPUT

menu items are used to select the

frequency of the tone that will be output onto the analog audio channels.
These controls are only valid when the

Audio Mode

is set to

4.4.6.2. Configuring the Analog Audio Tone Level

OUTPUT

There are two menu items used to set the volume of the analog audio
outputs. When either the

Left level

or

Right level

menu items are selected,

the right LCD panel will display an audio level adjustment screen. The active
adjustment will be highlighted while the other adjustment will be shown in
dark text. Rotate the control knob or press the



and



buttons to change

the current audio level. Turning the control knob while pressing it in allows
making quicker adjustments in larger steps.

The audio level range is from +10.0 dBu down to –30.0 dBu. The lowest
setting is

Mute

, which effectively disables the analog audio channel. The

adjustments are done in steps of 0.1 dBu (decibels unloaded).

Caution

: These menu items are live controls. Any changes to the audio

levels will immediately affect the analog audio outputs.

4.4.6.3. Setting the Analog Audio Generation Mode

OUTPUT

There are two output modes for the Analog Audio outputs.
Select

Steady tones

to generate continuous audio tones as defined by the

Left Frequency

and

Right Frequency

controls. These tones will be very pure

with a low total harmonic distortion.

Select Timed toned for event driven tone generation. There are a total of ten
audio events that can be configured to activate at different times for
adjustable durations. These tones can be programmed to go off at a certain
time of the day, or periodically every hour or every minute.
