Eveready® Energy Vault [AS1 and B1] –
System Operation
If you are unable to resolve the system fault(s) via the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault
App,
then you may be required to power cycle the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault AS1
system
in consultation with your system provider. Follow the steps below to conduct a full
system shutdown.
Turn Off Eveready®
Energy Vault
If the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault primary
unit [AS1] is installed in a stand-alone
manner, the system shall be turned off as follows:
1.
If Back-Up/UPS loads are connected, turn off respective AC circuit breakers.
a.
If applicable, turn off any circuit breaker connected on the Back-Up side.
2.
Turn off the Main circuit breaker connected to the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault AS1
system (C20).
a.
If applicable, turn off any circuit breaker connected on the grid side.
3.
Turn off the DC switch located on the right-hand side of the
primary
unit
.
4.
Turn off the battery switch, located on the right-hand side of the
primary
unit and
wait until the blue LED ring turns off.
If the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault
includes a combination of
primary
and
secondary
unit(s), the system shall be turned off as follows:
1.
If Back-Up/UPS loads are connected, turn off respective AC circuit breakers.
a.
If applicable, turn off any circuit breaker connected on the Back-Up side.
2.
Turn off the Main circuit breaker connected to the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault AS1
system (C20).
a.
If applicable, turn off any circuit breaker connected on the grid side.
3.
Turn off the DC switches for the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault
in a bottom-up sequence.
These are located on the right-hand side of the
primary
and
secondary
units.
For e.g., if there are 3x
secondary
units installed, then turn them off in the sequence
–
secondary
unit (No.3) > (No.2) > (No.1) >
primary
unit.
4.
Turn off the battery switches for the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault
in a bottom-up
sequence and wait until the blue LED switches off. These are located on the right-
hand side of the
primary
and
secondary
units.
For e.g., if there are 3x
secondary
units installed, then turn them off in the sequence
–
secondary
unit (No.3) > (No.2) > (No.1) >
primary
unit
.
At this stage, the
Eveready
®
Energy Vault AS1
system is completely shut down.
Wait at least five minutes for the system to completely de-energise.
