WARNING

WARNING
If the canister is full, before replacing it and
resuming the therapy, check that the wound is not
haemorrhaging (check for any signs of bleeding in
the suction tube and the canister). If so, urgent and
appropriate medical action needs to be taken.
Check that the canister has not tilted/tipped over. If so, move it back
into vertical position.
If the alarm automatically resets, the canister does not have to be
replaced, otherwise, even if the canister is not full, replace it and
resume the therapy.
The alarm can be silenced for 2 minutes by pressing
OK
This alarm is automatically reset only when the problem has been
solved.
WARNING
The absence of vacuum in the dressing might
determine build-up of exudates triggering infectious
and inflammatory processes. If the absence of
vacuum extends for several days, necrotic eschar
may form.
If suction is interrupted for more than 2 hours,
remove the dressing after irrigating it with saline
solution.
