WaterLily Vacuum Generator TS
is a multiuse device for negative pressure wound therapy and constitutes
the medical device of the WaterLily System.
The WaterLily System comprises:
•
Multiuse
WaterLily Vacuum Generator TS
.
•
Single-use
WaterLily TS Canister
for fluid collection.
•
Tube with suction head or, alternatively, suction tube connected to a Jackson-Pratt drain, both single-use.
•
Single-use gauze or porous foam wound dressing.
•
Single-use adhesive drape.
The
WaterLily Vacuum Generator TS
must only be used connected to the single-use
WaterLily TS Canister
and in conjunction with the suction tube, wound dressing and adhesive drape.
Carefully follow the instructions for use provided with the canister, suction tube, wound dressing and
adhesive drape before starting to use the
WaterLily Vacuum Generator TS
.
The single-use
WaterLily TS Canister
is equipped with a hydrophobic sterilizing membrane that acts as
overflow protection and prevents contamination of the
WaterLily Vacuum Generator TS
.
Caution
The moment the overflow protection system is activated, the vacuum
generator stops supplying vacuum useful for the negative pressure wound
therapy.
Replace the canister to resume the therapy.
