Switching on
To switch on the vacuum generator, press and hold the
button for a few seconds.
If the device switches on properly, an acoustic signal (beep) will sound, the green LED
will come on,
and the home page followed by the start page will appear:
The vacuum generator is equipped with a touchscreen through which the operator controls the device.
The device is supplied with the following factory settings:

Checking the alarms
ALARM CHECK: functional test of the visual and acoustic alarm system
The
ALARM CHECK
must be carried out by healthcare workers the first time the device is switched on and
before transferring the device to another patient following the procedure below:
After turning on the device and the start page has appeared:
press the
MENU
button to access the main menu, press the
SETTINGS
pane to access the
SETTINGS
menu,
then press the
ALARM
CHECK
pane.
