COMFORT and RAPID mode
The vacuum generator can be set to two suction modes:
•
COMFORT
•
RAPID
These two modes differ between them in the suction flows applied to the wound.
COMFORT
: medium suction flow for the first few minutes from activation with a gradual increase if the set
pressure is not reached up to the maximum suction flow.
INDICATIONS: moderately-sized wounds; less painful to the patient.
RAPID
: Maximum suction flow right from activation.
INDICATIONS: large wounds.
UNDESIRED EFFECTS: more painful to the patient.
