Before You Begin Installation

5.0 Before You Begin Installation

Before installing or connecting any

components, follow the safety information in

the ETS-Lindgren Product Information Bulletin

included with your shipment.

Failure to follow the instructions in this chapter

may damage the OMS and/or the sensor.

Site Requirements

The OMS is not designed for installation in a

hazardous area. Contact ETS-Lindgren for

information on special enclosures for use in a

hazardous environment.

The OMS must be installed outside of the

MRI room; otherwise, the OMS may interfere

with the normal operation of the MRI system.

The OMS must be installed outside of the shielded enclosure.

The Sample Draw Oxygen Monitoring System (OMS™) enclosure should be

mounted in an area free of vibration and electrical noise or interference. If

possible, avoid areas with high temperatures or condensing humidity.
