Configure audio
4. Launch the Epiphan Capture Tool.
5. Select the Tools » Opt ions m enu item , the Opt ions dialog appears.
a. Select the Audio tab.
a. If capturing em bedded SDI audio, select Fram e Grabber.
b. If using an external audio source, click Specific Windows audio input device and select
your audio device from the list.
c. If desired, use the Audio form at drop down to specify the audio bit rate you want saved (or
stream ed), Stereo/m ono and bit-depth. (If this value is different than the incom ing audio
bitrate, SDI2USB 3.0 resam ples the audio to your specified bitrate.)
d. If desired, check the Play capt ured audio checkbox to have the audio played over the
capture workstation's audio output device (e.g. speakers or headphones connected to the
capture workstation).
e. Click OK or Apply.
6. Alternatively, select Capt ure » Audio Input Device and select your audio source from the list.
