3.4.2 ZERO CHECKING
3.4.2.1 Equipment required
Zero air:
A sufficient quality of zero air from the Zero air filter of the analyzer.
3.4.2.2 Procedure
Zero checking:
Select the zero air inlet, or other appropriate inlet, of the analyzer by pressing the [Zero] key, and wait
for the measurement to stabilize. The reading should be between -1 and +1 ppb. If it is not, carry out a
zero adjustment. Refer to section 0,

If the zero air filter of the analyzer is not used, the device for zero air generation has to be permanently
linked to the zero air inlet of the analyzer. The recommended duration for zero check is 120 seconds.
