3.3.4.2 CONFIGURATION

Measurement mode
This screen is used to program the response time from approximately 6 sec. to 60 sec. The first digit
of the programmed number activates (1) or deactivates (0) the automatic response time function. The
second item divides the basic electronic integration time (60 sec.).
Examples: Response time = 13 gives an automatic response time with a minimum of 20 sec.
Response time = 03 gives an integration time fixed to 20 sec.
The recommended value is Response time = 11(see section 2.5, Automatic Response Time)
DAC memo
field: when this field is ON, it associates the analog outputs to the last measurement
values during the zero or span cycles in order not to disturb some data loggers.
Maintenance
field: when this field is ON, it allows trigger of alarm relays (see section 3.3.4.5 and Table
3.1). The maintenance mode is in the «
MEASUREMENT »
screens.
Starting screen
field: lets users choose the screen displayed after warm-up when starting up the
analyzer. Four choices are offered:
Instantaneous, Synoptic, Average, and Graphic

menu.
Light screen Off
field: lets users change the program time after which the screen passes into stand-by
mode after certain keyboard actions
Filter life time (d)
field: enables programming of the number of days before the filter should be
replaced. This counter counts down to zero, at which point a particle filter alarm message is triggered.
The value of this setting depends on the conditions under which the analyzer is being used. The
factory setting value is 60 days, which corresponds to the recommended maintenance frequency.
