When AS32M is
equipped with permeation bench option
, the following additional fluid
connections should be performed:

Connect the "zero air" inlet of the permeation bench supply with zero dried air delivered at
atmospheric pressure (see section 3.4 Calibration). The zero dried air of bench supply can be
delivered by:

A molecular sieve zero air generator,
 A synthetic air cylinder (80% N2 and 20% O2 mixture)
 A device consisting of two filtering columns containing 450 cm

silicagel and 450 cm
3
dust-
off, vegetal, activated carbon (22-631-362 grain). A dust filter should be installed at outlet of
the activated carbon column. See Figure 3–3).

Connect the pump outlet to a filtering cartridge of activated carbon in order not to throw
outwards NO2 produced by the bench permeation.
