Set the
Start Time
by using the LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys to move between
fields and pressing the
+
/
–
keys to adjust the values.
The control unit will now search the logs and calculate and display the Sensor
Average. A
Max Reading
is also displayed. By comparing the maximum reading
to the sensor average, it is possible to judge if the sensor readings were steady
during the period.
NOTE
The log type used for the calculation is displayed to the right of the
‘Max Reading’ value. –
The LT log is only available on the VIEW
373.
Calculating the Scaling Factor
Calculate the Scaling Factor manually
1.
Record the Sensor Average.
2.
Obtain the isokinetic sampling test result.
3.
Calculate the Scaling Factor (see
Update the new Scaling Factor in the Control Unit

Select
Setup | More Settings | Edit an Existing Device
.
2.
Select the device to edit and enter the Scaling Factor.
3.
Select
Save
to store the settings and return to the main menu.
Calculating the Scaling Factor: Automatic Method
1.
Obtain and enter the isokinetic sampling test result.
2.
Select
Calc
to perform the calculation and display the new Scaling
Factor.
a.
If the new Scaling Factor is acceptable, select
Save
to automatically
update it in the sensor configuration and return to the main QA menu
screen.
b.
If the new Scaling Factor is not acceptable, press
Back
to return the
calculation screen and repeat the calculation procedure, or select
Cancel
to return to the main QA menu screen.
