Response’ alarm will be generated in the Control Unit for that channel during
the maintenance period.
•
Maintenance mode menu in the control unit
: Sensors placed in
Maintenance mode will be re-enabled automatically after 8 hours.
NOTE
Switching to Maintenance mode prepares the system for manual
intervention by forcing the 4-20mA output to 4mA, removing any
alarm levels, and tagging internal data logs on the control unit (to
enable further actions within PC-ME DUST TOOLS).
8.2.1
Placing a Sensor in Maintenance Mode
There are two ways to activate Maintenance mode: via the QA menu for a specific
device or via Other Functions for all devices or a sensor selected from a list of
devices.
For a specific Sensor/Device
1.
Select
QA/Self Tests
on page 30).
2.
Select the required channel from the
Device
drop-down list.
3.
Press the
Start Maint
button and when prompted, select
YES
to place the
sensor in Maintenance mode. (The button toggles to ‘Stop Maint’.)
4.
When servicing is complete, click the
Stop Maint
button and when
prompted, select
YES
to return the system to normal operation.
For all Sensors/Devices in a Network
1.
Select
Setup
| Other Functions
to display this screen (
2.
Select
Start Maintenance (All Devices)
to put all sensors into Maintenance
mode.
3.
When servicing is complete, select
Stop Maintenance (All Devices)
.
