System is Booting ...
BACK LCD RST OFF
The
ON
function is only available when the Streamer Engine is not running.
Pressing the
ON
button powers up the Streamer Engine and starts its boot up sequence, a process
that takes approximately two minutes.
When the Streamer Engine is ready for operation, the LCD panel switches to the Main Menu, and the
Streamer Engine system console screen
(see Streamer Engine screens on page 54)
displays the message

System is Shutting Down
BACK LCD RST OFF
The
OFF
function is only available when the Streamer Engine is running.
Pressing the
OFF
button runs the Streamer Engine shut down sequence. When all open files are
closed and all running tasks are terminated, the Streamer Engine powers down. This process takes
approximately half a minute.

The Streamer Engine Main Menu displays:
System date and time used for scheduling.
CPU (system processor) utilisation as a percentage of total capacity.
Number of shows currently running.
Available hard disk space (rounded down to the nearest gigabyte)
Show Menu
The Show Information Menu provides basic control functions for Shows previously configured from
the Show Configuration screen on the Streamer Engine's web interface. The menu displays the ID
number, name and record/replay status of a single Show, and provides manual initiation and pausing
of the record and play functions for that Show.
Where no Shows are currently configured the only option is to return to the Main Menu.
