Return to the System Menu
To return to the LCD System Menu at any time: simultaneously press the two outer buttons on the row
below the LCD display. Pressing these buttons a second time, takes the LCD display back to the
Streamer Engine Main Menu.

LCD Backlight is always ON

BACK LCD RST ON
The
LCD
button has a toggle action, controlling the backlighting for the LCD display.
If the backlighting is set to OFF, pressing this button will set it to ON.
If the backlighting is set to ON, pressing this button will set it to OFF.
When the
LCD
function is set to ON, the screen backlight will be on whenever the E-Streamer is
connected to its mains power supply.

BACK LCD RST ON
When the
LCD
function is set to OFF, the screen backlight will only be on if the Streamer Engine is
running.
Back
The
BACK
function is only available when the Streamer Engine is running.
Pressing the
BACK
button takes the LCD display back to the Streamer Engine Main Menu.

BACK LCD RST ON
The
RESET
function is only available when the Streamer Engine is running.
Pressing the
RESET
button is similar to pressing the Reset button on a desktop computer. All
Streamer Engine operations are terminated immediately. The Streamer Engine then runs through its
boot up sequence, a process that takes approximately two minutes.
When the Streamer Engine is ready for operation, the LCD panel switches to the Main Menu, and the
Streamer Engine system console screen
(see Streamer Engine screens on page 54)
displays the message
