6.2 Display and operating elements
The local display enables you to read all important parameters directly at the measuring
point or configure the measuring device via the function matrix.
The display area consists of two lines; this is where measured values are displayed, and/or
status variables (direction of flow, partially filled pipe, bar graph etc.). You can change the
assignment of display lines to different variables to suit your needs and preferences (

see
the "Description of Device Functions" manual).

1 Liquid crystal display
The backlit, two-line liquid crystal display shows measured values, dialog texts, fault messages and notice messages. The dis-
play as it appears when normal measuring is in progress is known as the HOME position (operating mode).
– Upper display line: Shows primary measured values, e.g. volume flow in [ml/min] or in [%].
– Lower display line: Shows supplementary measured variables and status variables, e.g. totalizer reading in [m3], bar graph,
measuring point designation
2 Plus/minus keys
– Enter numerical values, select parameters
– Select different function groups within the function matrix
Press the +/- keys simultaneously to trigger the following functions:
– Exit the function matrix step by step

HOME position
– Press and hold down +/- keys for longer than 3 seconds

Return directly to HOME position
– Cancel data entry
3 Enter key
– HOME position

Entry into the function matrix
– Save the numerical values you input or settings you change
Icons
The icons which appear in the field on the left make it easier to read and recognize measured
variables, measuring device status, and error messages.
