PRESSURE SHOCK
SUPPRESSION MODE
Use this function to specify in what situations pressure shock suppression is activated.
Options:
STANDARD
Pressure shock suppression is only activated if the flow enters low flow cutoff from a
positive flow direction.
SYMMETRY
Pressure shock suppression is activated regardless of the direction from which the flow
enters low flow cutoff.
Factory setting:
SYMMETRY
EPD VALUE LOW
Use this function to set a lower threshold (limit value) for the measured density since
problems in the process can occur if the density is too low.
User input:
Multi-digit floating-point number
Factory setting:
Country dependent (SI: 0.2 kg/l; US: 0.2 g/cc)
EPD RESPONSE TIME
Use this function to enter the time span for which the criteria for an "empty" pipe have
to be satisfied without interruption before a notice message or fault message is generated.
User input:
0 to 100 s
Factory setting:
1 s
ZEROPOINT ADJUST
This function enables a zero point adjustment to be automatically carried out. The new
zero point determined by the measuring system is adopted by the ZERO POINT
function.
Options:
CANCEL
START
Factory setting:
CANCEL
"
Caution!
Prior to carrying out zero point adjustment, refer to the exact description of the
procedure involved (
22).
!
Note!
• During zero point adjustment, the LED flashes red/green alternately (three times a
second).
• If the zero point adjustment is not possible, e.g. with a flow velocity > 0.1 m/s, or has
been canceled, then the message "ZERO ADJUST NOT POSSIBLE" is shown in the
FieldCare operating program.
ZEROPOINT
Use this function to display the current zero-point correction value for the sensor.
!
Note!
The zero point correction value is entered in the ZERO POINT function (SENSOR
PARAMETER function group (
51))
