Preparatory steps
The measuring range and the unit in which the measured value is transmitted correspond
to the data on the nameplate.
L
WARNING
The setting for the current output affects the span (URV)!
This can result in product overflow.
‣
The setting for the current output depends on the setting in the
Assign PV
parameter.
‣
After changing the setting for the current output, check the setting for the span (URV)
and readjust it if necessary!
L
WARNING
Process pressure above or below permitted maximum/minimum!
Risk of injury due to bursting of parts! Warning messages are generated if pressure is too
high.
‣
If a pressure smaller than the minimum permitted pressure or greater than the
maximum permitted pressure is present at the device, a message is output.
‣
Use the device only within the sensor range limits!

As-delivered state
If no customized settings were ordered:
• Configured pressure mode
• Calibration values defined by defined sensor nominal value
• SW-selected alarm current: min: 3.6 mA
• The alarm current is set to min. (3.6 mA), (only if no other option was selected when

Function check
Perform a function check before putting the measuring point into operation:
• "Post-installation check" checklist (see the "Installation" section)
• "Post-connection check" checklist (see the "Electrical connection" section)
