Fabric Manager
Using the Topology View
The Fabric Manager’s Topology View displays all connectivity
products in a single fabric, as well as the interswitch links between
products in a multiswitch fabric.
The icons in the Topology View have a pass-over functionality that
displays detailed information for individual directors. The type of
information displayed by the pass-over functionality is determined
by the display options selected.
Display Options
There are four display options for the specific product information
that appears below product icons in the Topology View:
• Product name
• Network address
• Domain ID
• Worldwide name
To set the Topology View’s display options, right-click in an open
area of the main panel, and from the pop-up menu select the display
option desired.
Product Icons
Click a product icon in the Topology View to open the Product
Manager for that particular product. Refer to the Product Manager
user manual for step-by-step instructions on Product Manager
operations.
Right-click a product icon in the Topology View to display the
Properties
pop-up menu, which has two options:
• Open — Use this option to open the Product Manager for the
selected product.
• Properties — Use this option to open the Properties dialog box,
shown in Figure 3-4. This dialog box provides the following
information about the selected product:
