Repeat Steps i and j until no further adjustments are required.
l.
Monitoring the voltage on A10-27/28, set the Main Tuning Control FULL CW,
the voltmeter should in1.50 ±0.10 VDC. If not, adjust A10-R74.
m.
Set the Main Tuning Control FULL CCW, the voltmeter should indicate 0.00
VDC ±0.01 VDC. If not, adjust A10-R71.
n.
Repeat Steps l and m until no further adjustments are required.
4.4.8 Tuning Regulator Board A2A16A2 Adjustment/Verification
(Preamplifier circuitry also incorporated on A2A16A2.)
Equipment required: Digital Voltmeter.
36 pin double-sided extension board (ECB-30).
a.
Remove the RF Tuner Module A2 from the receiver, refer to Section 4.2.2, and
next remove the top cover from the RF Tuner, refer to Section 4.2.2.1.
b.
After removing the RF Tuner Module, lay a piece of masonite or similar material
across the receiver and set the RF Tuner Module on it.
c.
Reconnect the following cables and connectors.
1)
A2P3 to A16J5.
2)
A2P4B to A16J4B.
3)
A2P5 to A16J5.
4)
A2P6B to A16J6B.
5)
A2A16A6-P4A to A16J4A.
6)
A2A16A5-P6A to A16J6A.
7)
A2J1 (flexible coaxial cable) to RF Tuner.
d.
Place the Preamplifier/Tuning Regular Board (A2A16A2) onto the 36 pin double-
sided extension board.
e.
Set the front panel controls as follows:
