3.2. CONNECTING IRRADIANCE EQUIPMENT (PV-IRR)

For measuring irradiance, the MP-1000S system is equipped with 2 Silicon reference
cells (model: Si-mV-85). Both cells will be placed outside next to the PV Modules (in
plane). Both reference cells will be connected by a 10m cable to the PV-IRR Block
(nr.4).

Connect Pin 1 (Plus Signal Irradiance) of reference cell 1 to connector (Plus sig-

nal, nr. +1) of PV-IRR Block

•

Connect Pin 2 (Minus Signal Irradiance) of reference cell 1 to connector (Minus

signal, nr. -1) of PV-IRR Block

•

Connect Pin 1 (Plus Signal Irradiance) of reference cell 2 to connector (Plus sig-

nal, nr. +2) of PV-IRR Block (nr +2)

Connect Pin 2 (Minus Signal Irradiance) of reference cell 2 to connector (Minus

signal, nr. -2) of PV-IRR Block (nr)
