55. Apply non-acetic silicon between the vehicle, rubber extrusion and corner piece at the locations shown FROM THE UNDERSIDE
OF CORNER PIECE. Repeat process for the other side of the vehicle.

NOTE: Ensure the bead of silicon does not
protrude through the gap between the corner piece and the vehicle to become visible from above the corner piece.

53. Now that the lock striker bracket has been positioned correctly, centre punch and drill Ø5mm holes through the bracket and into the
side rail as shown. Apply rust inhibitor to the drilled holes and then fasten the bracket into place using pop rivets as shown. Repeat
process for the other side of the vehicle.

54. Apply non-acetic silicon between the rubber extrusion and the outside of the corner piece as shown. Apply non-acetic silicon
between the rubber extrusion and the inside of the corner piece as shown. The sealant is used to close up gaps in the assembly to
prevent water entering the vehicle bed area. Repeat process for the other side of the vehicle as shown.
