Unpacking the

Printer

Setting Up Your Printer

Open the printer’s front cover.

Squeeze the latch near the upper-
right corner of the cover.

Remove any packing material from
the printer’s waste toner pack.

Ensure that the waste toner pack is
reinserted into its cavity when fin-
ished.

Remove any other packing material from inside the printer’s
front cover and toner cartridge cavity.

Pull the latch to release the top
cover, and then open the cover.
