Door contact

Controller type: UR 141

When working with coldrooms, 230 V inputs are each connected to a coldroom door contact. Cooling and the
evaporator fan are stopped when the coldroom door is opened.

Door Contact 1 can be activated via the digital input Input 1 (terminal D11/D12).
Door Contact 2 can be activated via the digital input Input 3 (terminal D31/D32).

Switch-off conditions:

If the high temperature alarm setpoint (on room sensor) or the maximum door open time is exceeded, cooling
and the evaporator fan will be restarted before the door is closed. High room temperature (high temperature
alarm) also prevents switching off.

If the alarm delay is set to 0 minutes, then the refrigeration and fan are switched off and the alarm is immedi
ately activated.

4.2.7

Setpoint toggle (day/night operation)

Controller setpoints can be entered both as a standard value and as an alternative value. Setpoint toggle allows
changing between these two values. Toggling can be made by two methods (Menu 3-3):

EXTERNAL:

By applying voltage to the 230 V digital input Input 2 (terminal D21/D22) by switch of timer

S

INTERNAL:

By setting toggle times on the internal clock

UA 111 X, UA 111 XP:

S

The fan is stopped for an adjustable time (parameter Blind On Time in Menu 3-3). The fan resumes running
when toggling back to the standard setpoints.

UR 141:

S

Setpoint toggle has no effect on fan control.

4.2.8

Lighting control

Controller type: UA 111 X

Actuation of display case lighting can be provided on the UA 111 X.

During the start of the case controller the digital output (terminals 81/82) is set to OFF, there is no 24 V DC / 50
mA signal, and thus the case lighting is OFF. If the two-thirds lighting is switched on, then the digital output is
supplied with a 24 V DC / 50 mA signal and the case lighting is ON.

Four lighting states are presumed:

(A)

Lighting all off

(B)

One third lighting on

(C)

Two thirds lighting on

(D)

Complete store lighting all on

With lighting all off (A) and one-third lighting on (B), lighting is always switched off in the display case. Lighting in
the display case is always switched on and off when switching from one-third to two-thirds lighting on and back.
