Archiving operating data
4.2.9.1 Temperature recording
Temperature recording is only provided for systems not equipped with higher-level temperature recording (e.g.
system centre / store computer). Temperature readings of the return air / room air sensors of both temperature
zones and the status of alarm, cooling, defrosting and door are saved to a ring buffer at 15-minute intervals for a
period of one year.
This data recording is not sufficient to comply with the requirements of EU Regulation 37/2005 on
monitoring temperatures in means of transport, warehousing and storage of frozen foods.
Local temperature recording
Temperature is recorded at 15-minute intervals in the flash memory of the UA410D AC.
The recorded data can be read out on the BT 300 x Operator Interface under Archive.
Temperature recording on system centre / store computer via CAN bus
The UA 410 D records temperature at 15-minute intervals and transmits the data via the CAN bus to the system
centre / store computer for archiving.
4.2.9.2 Temperature recording to EU Regulation 37/2005
For temperature recording in accordance with the EU regulation 37/2005 for the monitoring of temperatures in
the means of transport, warehousing and storage of quick-frozen foodstuffs, the use of a separate temperature
recording device such as the UA 410 L is required, see the UA 410 L operating instruction.
4.2.10 Real time clock
The UA 410 D is equipped with a real-time clock. This clock is battery-backed and keeps running in an electric
power failure. The real-time clock synchronises the software clock cyclically. This is intended to accommodate
stand-alone operation of the UA 410 D. When a CAN bus is connected, the real-time clock and software clock
are synchronized via the CAN bus.
The internal clock of the UA 410 D registers the date and time of day. Automatic summer / winter time
changeover can be selected (last Sunday in March and October).
Software clock over CAN bus
When connected to the CAN bus, the software clock is cyclically synchronised from a higher level controller with
real-time clock (system centre, store computer or operator terminal).
