If the Sense Test signal is not detected on the return path, a
Line Fault is raised to the 2Mx.

ote: N Locally initiated Sense Test will only be performed over the
speaker loops connected to the amplifier. Please refer to Sense Test
and Sense Test interval functionality inside the 2Mx Technical Manual
for Sense Test performed over all speaker loops.
Sense test in a Sonix PA/GA system can be initiated
from three sources:
•
Locally initiated from the front panel of the 350-d
amplifier (continuous) (local amplifier only)
•
Remotely initiated from the front of the 2Mx controller
(single event on all amplifiers)
•
Automatically initiated on timeout by the 2Mx
controller (regular event on all amplifiers)
5.3.2.1 Eol 1 sense test
Both loop and spur connections are feasible as wiring
topologies and both are supported by 350-d. However,
if line monitoring is required for spur connected
loudspeakers, additional conditions needs to be met:
1 An Eol1 unit need to be fitted at the end of each
loudspeaker spur*.
2 EOL Device option needs to be set to ENABLED in
the 350-d configuration**.
