Switching on when there
are configuration changes

If the SmartWire-DT configuration that is already in opera-
tion is switched on again, the SmartWire-DT coupling unit
checks first whether the actual and target configurations
agree. If so, it is checked whether the project and target
configurations agree. If the result of a check is negative, the
SmartWire-DT gateway changes over to the corresponding
error mode, shows the error by means of the SmartWire-DT
and Config. LED and awaits operator actions.

The behavior of the SmartWire-DT network depends on the
parameter settings of the SWD slaves in the PLC control
configuration. If certain slaves are ´mandatory for operation,
you can specify that the complete SmartWire-DT network
will not go into operation, if one of these necessary slaves is
missing.

“SmartWire-DT Gateways”.

Switch-on in case of a changed actual configuration

If. after switching on, the SmartWire-DT coupling unit ascer-
tains a deviation in the number or part no. of SmartWire-DT
slaves between the actual and target configurations, it
reacts as follows:

• Change to error mode,
• Error reporting by LED, see above Table 14.
