Introduction

This document covers the Eaton Addressable Fire System and is intended to extend and / or
suppliment the information given within the product manuals

It does not cover all eventualities but tries to demonstrate available options within the Panel menu
structure and document changes and additions new features and updates are applied.

Examples shown are from the information, screen display or software available at the time of inclusion
and may differ slightly in what is currently available.

Panel Firmware Version

The Addressable family of panels has two distinctly separate sets of firmware code, covering Display
& Loop.
These two sets of code are developed and released in pairs and systems should always have
matched pairs.
It is impossible to say with any degree of certainty what may happen if Display and Loop versions are
mixed. It may appear that your panel will function correctly with the features enabled but if a new
feature is introduced that and/or existing features may not operate as intented causing irratic
behaviour. Eaton will not accept any liability if firmware version are mixed in a system.
