Method 2 (Maintenance Autolearn)
•
Firstly, using the Site Installer software, take a download of the current configuration file. Save
a copy.
•
Ensure you are only adding devices to the new loop and all devices are new or have been set
to the default address of 254. (you cannot use previously addressed devices unless they have
been defaulted)
•
Assuming all static cable checks have been completed, run the maintenance autolearn
function from the panel. (You will only get 1 attempt at this, if it fails you must default every
device to 254 & try again)
•
Download the configuration to a new instance of Site Installer.
•
You can now add text descriptions, zoning & Cause and Effect to the new loop as usual.
•
The existing loops will be untouched.
•
Upload the config back to the panel & test.
Analogue Level.
The analogue level reading is used to display the analogue value being sensed by the detector, this
value is displayed in a numeric format and also in a graphical form. This reading is displayed in real
time.
On v3.0 software Next/Previous buttons have been added to enable the user to scroll through the
addresses more easily. The min/max values are erased on exiting the menu and resetting the panel.
Version 3.0 software also allows the analogue levels to be transmitted to the PC by Loop, this is
achieved through the Site Installer program and user menu.

Printer Settings.
When the printer is fitted then there are two options for its operation: Auto and On Request.
In early versions of firmware when changing between the two, the panel needed to have a hard reset
or power down/power up to see the change in the settings, this is no longer the case.
If the printer is replaced, then a hard reset or power down should also be carried out to recognise the
printer. This also applies if the Printer power supply plug is disconnected
The Panel must be running on its primary AC Mains Supply for the printer to operate
