EASY-START ES SPECIFICATIONS:
Starting
Continuous 3-phase sensing, adjustable from 200 to 500%.
Current Limit:
Energy Saving:
The Easy-Start ES senses the motor load and slip speed and adjusts
the motor voltage to conserve power whenever the motor is lightly
loaded.
Power Wiring:
Straight through configuration.
Undervoltage Protection:
Trips at 75% of nominal line voltage. Time delay 2 seconds
approximately.
Phase Rotation
Inhibits starting of motor unless input line voltage is ABC rotation.
Protection:
LED indicates wrong rotation.
Phase-Loss Protection:
Trips if one or more phases are lost. Time delay 0.5 second
approximately.
Alarm Relay:
N.O. contact non-isolated, 120 VAC 1 Amp is provided for remote
indication of tripped condition.
Auxiliary Contact:
(K2) 1-Form C Isolated, 120 VAC, 5 Amps.
Standard Adjustments:
●
Current calibration DIP switches: set at time of installation.
See Section 3.
Potentiometer Adjustments:
●
Current Trip: 100-120%
Clockwise rotation
●
Current Limit: 200500%

Voltage Ramp Mode: 20-90%
Current Ramp Mode: 100-200%
Energy-Saving:
●
Energy-Saving On/Off: Selectable with switch DS3-2
Open: Energy Saving On
Closed: Energy Saving Off
Current Unbalance:
Trips starter off at 20% line current unbalance from the average
current.
6-Cycle Delayed Stop:
Phases the SCRÕs off over a period of approximately 6 line cycles
during a normal motor stop command.
5-Cycle Ride-Through:
Starter will retain control of motor during a short line power
interruption, when both 3-phase line power and 120 Vac control
power are lost.
Overtemperature
Thermostat sensors, on heat sinks of fan cooled starters activate
Protection:
and shut down starter in case of high ambient or lack of proper
air flow.
