RESPONSABILITA’ GENERALI
Poichè il costruttore della macchina non è in grado di esercitare
alcun controllo diretto sulle applicazioni e funzionamento della
macchina, queste attività rientrano nelI'ambito delle respons-
abilità esclusiva dell'utente e dei suoi collaboratori
ADDESTRAMENTO DEL PERSONALE
La piattaforma di sollevamento è un dispositivo ad uso del per-
sonale. Di conseguenza è essenziale che il funzionamento e la
manutenzione siano affidati solamente a personale autorizzato,
che abbia dimostrato di comprendere la peculiarità d'uso e di
manutenzione della macchina.
L’importante che tutto il personale assegnato all'unità e respon-
sabile del funzionamento e della manutenzione di questa
macchina segua un rigoroso programma di addestramento e
compia un periodo di prova, in modo da acquisire familiarià con
le caratteristiche operative prima di mettere in funzione la
macchina stessa.
Non si deve permettere di usare la macchina ad individui sotto
l'influenza di droghe o di alcool, ne a persone affette da epi-
lessia, vertigini o perdita del controllo motorio.
ADDESTRAMENTO DELL’OPERATORE
L’ addestramento dell'operatore si basa su quanto segue:
Uso e limitazioni dei comandi sul cesto, di quelIi a terra

e dei comandi di emergenza.
Conoscenza e comprensione di questo manuale dei con-

trassegni dei comandi, delle istruzioni e delle avvertenze
affisse sulla macchina.
Conoscenza di tutte le norme di sicurezza del lavoro im-

poste dal datore di lavoro e dalla legislazionevigente, com-
preso I'addestramento al riconoscimento e alla
prevenzione dei pericoli potenziali presenti sul cantiere,
prestando particolare attenzione al lavoro specifico da es-
eguire.
Uso corretto di tutte le attrezzature obbligatorie di sicurezza

del personale, in particolare I'uso di un elmetto di sicurezza
e di altre attrezzature contro le cadute, con una cintura di
sicurezza attaccata al cesto in qualsiasi momento.
Conoscenza del funzionamento meccanico della

macchina, sufficiente a riconoscere un guasto reale o
potenziale.

CUSTOMER/USER RESPONSIBILITY
AND MACHINE CONTROLS
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Since the manufacturer of the machine cannot exert any direct
control over the applications and operation of the machine,
these activities are the exclusive responsi-bility of the user and
co-workers.
PERSONNEL TRAINING
The lifting platform is a machine intended for use by personnel.
As a result it is essential that its operation and maintenance are
entrusted only to authorized personnel who have demonstrated
that they understand how to use and maintain the machine.
It is important that all the personnel assigned to the unit and re-
sponsible for the operation and maintenance of this machine
follow a thorough training programme and complete a period of
probation in order to become familiar with the operational fea-
tures of the machine before using it.
Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs and persons
suffering from epileptic fits, dizziness or loss of motor nerve con-
trol must not be allowed to use the machine.
OPERATOR TRAINING
Operator training is based on the following:
Use and limitations of the controls in the cage, those on the

ground and the emergency controls.
Knowledge and comprehension of this manual and the con-

trol signs, instructions and warnings affixed to the machine.
Knowledge of all the work safety rules imposed by the em-
3
ployer and the laws in force, including training in regard to
the recognition and prevention of potential dangers present
in the place of work, with special attention to the specific
job to be carried out.
Correct use of all the compulsory personal safety equip-
4
ment, especially use of safety helmets and other e q u i p -
ment against the risk of falling, with a safety belt attached
to the cage at all times.
Sufficient knowledge of the mechanical working of the ma-

chine to be able to recognize actual or potential break
downs.
The best ways to operate the machine in the proximity of
6
suspended obstructions, other moving equipment and
where there are obstructions, depressions, holes, sudden
dips, etc. in the surface supporting the
