4.4 Troubleshooting

If there is an abnormality, correct it referring to the following table

Symptom

Cause

Solution

Lamp fails to light if power
switch is turned on.

a. Fuse is not in place.
b. Fuse is blown.

a. Reinsert the fuse.
b. Replace the fuse.

“656.1nm NG”, appears on
the screen during
initialization.

Wavelength calibration
values have been deleted.

CALIBRATION.

b. Contact the nearest Dynamica agent if

the error display does not go off even
after executing CALIBRATION.

D2 LAMP or WI LAMP NG
is displayed on the screen
during initialization.

Lamp filament has failed

Replace the lamp.

“PRINTER NOT READY”
appears on the LCD screen.

Printer head is abnormal.

a. Turn off the power switch, and see if

the error display goes off.

b. Contact the nearest Dynamica agent if

the error message is displayed again.

Error message appears on
the bottom of the LCD.

Instrument has been operated
erroneously.

Operate the instrument properly referring
