3.4.2 Performing a Wavelength Measurement
Upon completion of measurement conditioning setting, press the <0> key and the
measurement screen appears on the LCD. When the conditioning screen is switched
over to the measurement screen, the instrument checks the user-specified
parameters.
If any conditional inconsistency is found, the relevant error message is displayed at
the bottom of the screen. Also, if the currently wavelength does not match the start
wavelength, it is forced to shift to the level of start wavelength.
Press
Autozero
key on the keyboard to execute an auto zero. Then set a sample and
press the START key to perform wavelength scanning and the spectrum will be
displayed on the screen.
To abort a measurement during operation, press the STOP key. Upon completion of
measurement, the following spectral plot appears on the LCD. If the Auto Print and
Graph parameter is preset to “On”, the on-screen spectral plot is output to the
printer if connected. If the printer does not print the graph correctly, check the
printer setup menu to make sure that the correct printer type is selected.
