Maintenance

Service Instructions 2112-5 - 00.0 - 02/2020

9.1 Cleaning

To clean the machine:

1. Switch off the machine.
2. Remove fabric residues.
3. Using a compressed air gun, blow off dust and thread residues at

the sewing head, at the working plate, at the main clamp and at
the linear rail.

4. Wipe machine parts dry using a dry, clean cloth.

WARNING

Risk of injury from flying particles!

Flying particles can enter the eyes, causing injury.

Wear safety goggles.
Hold the compressed air gun so that the particles
do not fly close to people.
Make sure no particles fly into the oil pan.

NOTICE

Property damage from soiling!

Sewing dust and thread residues can impair the operation of
the machine.

Clean the machine as described.

NOTICE

Property damage from solvent-based cleaners!

Solvent-based cleaners will damage paintwork.

Use only solvent-free substances for cleaning.
