If you are connecting through PPTP:

Enter the router (
PPTP client
) IP Address.

Server IP Address:
Enter the ADSL router/Cable modem (
PPTP server

Address.

My Subnet Mask:
Enter the router Subnet Mask.

My Gateway:
Optional if the PPTP client and server are in the same subnet.
For Layer-2 VPN application, this field is typically necessary. Check with your
ISP for the settings to use.
E.
PPTP Account / PPTP Password:
Provided by your ISP. Check with your
ISP for the settings to use.
F.
PPTP Connection ID:
Left blank for most applications. Check with your ISP
for the correct settings to use.
G.
Dial on Demand:
When enabled, the router will attempt to connect with the
specific ISP if:
i.
At least one LAN user would like to access Internet and/or
ii.
The current WAN connection is on disconnected condition.
H.
Auto-disconnect when Idle Time is over:
Enter a period of time in
seconds if you want to disconnect automatically when your Internet
connection is idle for more than the specified period of time.

Encapsulation:
Select the encapsulation type.
The
ISP will provide the
encapsulation type.
J.
VPI:
Enter in the VPI. The ISP defines this also. The default should be 0.

VCI:
Enter in the VCI. The ISP defines this also. The default should be 100.
