Click the

WAN

link in the left hand side frame. If using ADSL to connect to the Internet in New

Zealand, go to

option 5

, PPPoA. The router supports 5 connection options:

1. Static IP:

If you are connecting through a static IP (Fixed IP) address:

WAN IP Address

: Enter the IP Address in the

WAN IP Address

. This is the

IP Address as seen by external users on the Internet (including your ISP).

WAN Subnet Mask

: Enter the

WAN Subnet Mask

WAN Gateway

: Enter the

WAN Gateway Address

. The

ISP will provide the

Gateway IP Address.

WAN DNS

: Enter the

WAN 1

DNS

and/or

WAN 2

DNS

. You must enter at

least one DNS address. Check your

ISP for details.

Encapsulation:

Select the encapsulation type.

The

ISP will provide the

encapsulation type.

VPI:

Enter in the VPI. The ISP defines this also. The default should be 0.

VCI:

Enter in the VCI. The ISP defines this also. The default should be 100.

H. Click

Save & Restart

to save the settings.
