To manually carry out the communication setting, you
need to specify a COM port number, which is assigned
to “FOMA P706ie” (modem) embedded after you install
the “FOMA communication setup files” (driver).
The confirmation method varies depending on the
operating system of your personal computer.

When using DOCOMO Internet access service “mopera U” or
“mopera”, you do not need to set an access point name (APN);
therefore, you do not need to confirm the modem.
