Connect Your System to ThinWire Ethernet Cable
To connect the server system to ThinWire Ethernet cable:
1. Set the
l O
on/off switch on the back of the system unit to the off (O)
position.
2. Attach a ThinWire cable to one side of the T-connector for the system
unit.
3. If your system is the first or last system in a single ThinWire
segment
,
leave the terminator attached to one side of the T-connector.
A segment is a length of cable made up of one or more cable sections
connected with
barrel connectors
or T-connectors.
4. If your system is not the first or last system and you want to connect
another system to the ThinWire cable, add another section of cable to
the T-connector.
