4.7.7 Ping
Tap the “Ping” tab in the WWAN manager to check the WWAN
communication status.
The screen on the right is displayed.
Destination IP : Sets the destination device IP address
Interval : Sets the ping time interval
OK / Total ; Displays the ping results.
Ping success count / Ping total count

Refer to
“4.7.2 General” for the details of the
“Network” and “Data Connection” section.
“Start” / “End” button : Starts or ends pinging.
“Option” button
: Sets the ping options.
OK Sound : Plays an OK sound when a ping succeeded.
NG Sound : Plays an NG sound when a ping timeout occurs.
Dialog Color : Uses the background color for each dialog
group to classify the status by color.

Ping succeeded.
Red
Ping timeout occurred.
Network Green
4 or more antennas exist.
Yellow
3 or less antennas exist.
Red
1 or none antenna exists.
Data Connection Green Data connection is connected
Red Data connection is disconnected
File save : Saves the ping logs in the following file.
File path : \Flash\3Glog
File name : $3Glog_"serial number of the device".log
Log contents : time(hh:mm:ss), ping status(OK/NG), BHT IP address, carrier name,
network status, signal strength, base station ID, GPS latitude and longitude.
- Note -
GPS data will be obtained in a few minutes after the ping is started.
The BHT will not be turned OFF while pinging.
