4.5 Wireless Network Settings
4.5.1 Wireless LAN Menu
“Wireless LAN” is a wireless LAN setup tool called the “Wlan Manager”,
and is used to connect the BHT via a wireless network and check the
network information.
To open the Wlan Manager, double tap the
“Wireless LAN” icon in the
System Properties.
The Wlan Manager provides the following menus.
Information: Displays the wireless device information, and
connection status.
Network: Displays network information, and sets up the IP
address and the name servers.
Settings: Sets up the power save mode, radio mode and
advanced settings.
Profiles: Edits the network profiles
Link: Displays the current communication status
Ping: Performs a Ping test
4.5.2 Information menu
Tap the
“Information” tab in the Wlan manager.
The following information is displayed.
Version:
Driver: Wireless driver version
Firmware: Wireless module firmware version
Region code: Country code (country name, standards organization)
Status:
Active Profile: Current active profile
Status: Current connection status
BSSID: Current BSSID
Signal Strength: Current signal strength
Channel: Current communication channel
IP Address BHT IP Address
“Open” button:
Opens the wireless device by tapping
“Close” button:
Closes the wireless device by tapping

Note

The wireless device opened by the
“Open” button remains open even after the Wlan
manager is closed. To close the wireless device, open this menu again and tap the
“Close” button.
