Adding and Replacing Parts

Removing a Memory Module

CAUTION:

Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the

safety instructions in the

Product Information Guide

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 143.

Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on
page 145).

Press out the securing clip at each end of the memory module connector.

Grasp the memory module and lift the module straight up and out of the
connector.

If the memory module is difficult to remove, gently ease the module back
and forth while pulling up.

Installing a Memory Module

CAUTION:
