Dual switch configuration with existing switch (all ports are not free)
In the scenario where the customer has two existing switches and is going to use the
available LAN ports on the switches, follow these cabling guidelines.
l
All 0 ports both on the X400 platform cube and theX400 capacity cubes should be
connected to the external VLAN on switch 1.
l
All 2 ports both on the X400 platform cube and theX400 capacity cubes should be
connected to the external VLAN on switch 2.
l
All 1 ports both on the X400 platform cube and theX400 capacity cubes should be
connected to the internal VLAN on switch 1.
