Configure two switches in the X400 Appliance
The following figure illustrates two Dell S4048F (48 x 10G SFP+ ports) top-of-rack
switches for network redundancy. (Note that you can use any type of switch, as long
as it is an SFP+ switch that supports 10 GbE or 25 GbE and VLAN.) For the most
reliable redundancy and balancing, the external (public) ports from each NIC should go
to separate switches, and the internal (private) ports from each NIC should go to
separate switches.
